Ieri doveva essere una giornata tranquilla, tanto più che non dovevo nemmeno andare a lavoro.
Sì, le solite cose da fare da donna-di-casa, magari un giro al parco con Olivia, una bella doccia, al massimo qualcosa di buono da cucinare.
E invece niente, quando una giornata è programmata per andare storta, non c’è nulla che potrà raddrizzarla.
Sì, perché in mattinata quel gran dritto del cane dei miei, Micky detto Pupi, età 15 anni, mezzo sordo, per l’altra metà cieco, incerto sulle zampine e, diciamolo, pure un po’ rinco (oh, vorrei vedere voi a quasi 100 anni), ha deciso che era ora di farsi una bella scampagnata in giro per il paese. Un cancello lasciato malauguratamente aperto, nessuno che si accorga del fattaccio per un’oretta buona, e lui, libero come il vento.
Per prima cosa, l’annuncio su Facebook, foto ovunque, condivisioni in lungo e in largo.
Poi, mi dico, carico Olivia in macchina e vado anche io a perlustrare la zona, sia mai che il recidivo (eh sì, il malandrino ha il vizietto della fuga) torni sul luogo del delitto. Arrivo in macchina, 45°C, Olivia con la lingua che ormai tocca il pavimento, e la batteria dell’auto dopo 6 anni di onorato servizio, è morta. Irrecuperabile.
Lascio Olivia, prendo la metro, mi faccio raccattare, aguzzo la vista, mi armo di smartphone con la foto segnaletica del fuggitivo, avvistato (Facebook santo subito) in un parco ad un Comune di distanza.. vecchio sì, ma con sprint! Da lì, confermato l’avvistamento, via dai Vigili Urbani, quindi al canile sanitario per il riconoscimento e la restituzione (dopo tanto di cattura, che nemmeno Cavallo Pazzo ha il suo curriculum vitae).
Caldo, ansia, preoccupazione per le condizioni in cui verserà la povera vittima… che se la ronfava beata in mezzo all’erbetta. Dalla contentezza, però, e in un evidente guizzo di gioventù ritrovata, ci ha persino accolto ritto sulle due zampe, come ai bei vecchi tempi di gagliardo cane/lemure… non c’è che dire, almeno non ha peccato di ingratitudine.
Dopo una giornata così c’è solo un rimedio: un bel dolcino, ma di quelli semplici e confortanti che piacciono tanto a me, perfetti come sfizio, come merenda e soprattutto per la colazione. Sono le camille di Assunta, da me trasformate in tortine di carote e mandorle (utilizzando questi deliziosi stampini, che io ho scelto in un bel verde pastello), di una morbidezza incredibile, e con un gusto che somiglia tanto alle camille di Antonio, gallina & CO., solo molto, ma molto più buone.
Tortine alle carote e mandorle
Di Pubblicata:
- Resa: 19 tortine (della dimensione di muffin medi)
- Preparazione: 25 minuti
- Cottura: 20 minuti
- Pronta In: 45 minuti
Ingredienti
- 250 grammi di carote
- 3 uova piccole
- 100 grammi di farina di mandorle
- 100 grammi di succo di arancia
- 80 grammi di olio di semi per me di mais
- 200 grammi di zucchero a velo vanigliato (per me naturalmente, mettendo lo zucchero a velo in un contenitore con le bacche di vaniglia già utilizzate)
- 200 grammi di farina 00
- 1 bustina di lievito per dolci se lo avete sciolto, sono 16 grammi
- scorza di arancia di un'arancia
- 1 pizzico di sale
Istruzioni
- Pelate le carote, grattugiatele e poi mettetele nel mixer insieme all’olio e al succo d’arancia, frullando fino a ridurre quasi a crema.
- In una terrina, montate le uova con lo zucchero, unite quindi la farina di mandorle, la scorza di arancia ed unite un pizzico di sale, quindi mescolate bene.
- Incorporate le carote frullate e, sempre mescolando, aggiungete infine la farina precedentemente setacciata con il lievito.
- Pre-riscaldate il forno a 180°C
- Versate il composto in stampi a semisfera di 7 cm di diametro o in stampini per muffin (per me questi ultimi) ed infornate in forno già caldo per circa 20 minuti, o fino a doratura (fate la prova dello stecchino).
- Sfornatele e fatele raffreddare. Appena fredde, chiudetele in sacchetti di cellophane per alimenti, in questo modo conserveranno la loro fragranza e morbidezza per più giorni.
