Bibidibobidibu – Torta bilbolbul di Ada Boni

Quando ho scoperto, grazie a Federica, l’esistenza della torta bilbolbul di Ada Boni, il nome mi ha colpito subito, come un fulmine: che diavolo di nome è?

Se anche voi vi siete posti la medesima domanda, sappiate che è il nome di quello che convenzionalmente viene considerato il primo fumetto italiano (classe 1908), intitolato appunto Bilbolbul, che narrava le piccole avventure di un bambino africano. Ipotizzo che quando Ada Boni inserì questa ricetta nel suo Il talismano della felicità alla fine degli anni ’20, il fumetto dovesse ancora essere sulla cresta dell’onda, mentre ora è avvolto dal mistero (io non lo avevo mai sentito nominare prima). Il sospetto, e nemmeno tanto campato in aria, è che il nome della torta sia stato dato per somiglianza fra la pelle scura del protagonista del fumetto e il colore scurissimo di questo dolce, ricchissimo di cacao amaro (fate che non mi legga Salvini, o mi ritrovo inserita nelle liste della Lega senza nemmeno saperlo).

Ma, quando sono andata a leggere per benino ingredienti e procedimento, ho deciso che, casualità o no, bilbolbul somigli tanto alla formula magica bidibibodibibu.. e questa torta un po’ magica lo è davvero: niente burro né olio, niente uova, giusto quattro ingredienti, cinque minuti fra la pesata e il forno, et voilà, una torta perfetta per la colazione o per una merenda sana e golosa. E potete personalizzarla praticamente con tutto ciò che vorrete; io ho già provato l’originale e una versione arricchita da cubetti di pere ma, credetemi, non mi fermerò qui.

PS (che mi ero dimenticata): sostituendo il latte vaccino con latte di mandorle, nocciole, soya o altro, la torta diventa adattabile agli intolleranti ai latticini.

Ingredienti

Istruzioni

  1. Pre-riscaldate il forno a 180°C.
  2. Setacciate la farina, lo zucchero e il cacao insieme in una ciotola. Aggiungete la cannella (opzionale), il lievito, la scorza di arancia e infine il latte.
  3. Mescolate con un cucchiaio di legno fino ad ottenere un impasto liscio ed omogeneo; se necessario aggiungete un pochino di latte, tenendo conto che l'impasto deve comunque rimanere consistente.
  4. Mettete l’impasto in uno stampo tondo (24 cm di diametro, ma anche 22 cm) foderato di carta da forno (o imburrato e spolverato con cacao).
  5. Infornate in forno caldo per 25/30 minuti (nel mio forno 28 minuti); controllate con uno stecchino che, a mio avviso, non deve risultare completamente asciutto, pena una torta troppo secca. Io ho preferito lasciarla un po' più umida.
  6. Sfornate e, una volta fredda, sformate la torta.
  7. Ho provato anche una versione più golosa, aggiungendo 2 pere tagliate a tocchetti nell'impasto, che donano ancor più morbidezza ed umidità alla torta; in questo caso, sempre per lasciare la torta un po' umida, ho cotto per circa 40 minuti. Allungate quindi i tempi di cottura di circa 10-12 minuti.

    1. Guarda, questa è davvero una torta last minute e facilissima.. un cucchiaio di legno, una ciotola e una bilancia e il gioco è fatto! Davvero in 5 minuti è pronta da infornare e, a patto di tenerla morbida come un brownie, secondo me deliziosa, e personalizzabile come più vi aggrada.
      Se la provi, voglio sapere il responso!!

    1. Vedi che mi ero dimenticata di dire qualcosa?! Che è adattabilissima con tutti i latti possibili ed immaginabili (di mandorle, nocciole, soya ecc), in modo da diventare adattissima anche agli intolleranti ai latticini! Lo aggiungo subito nel post!!
