Riecchime! Ogni volta riesco a superare me stessa in quanto ad assenza.. ma non è ingiustificata, lo giuro. In questo periodo, infatti, vivo con un piede in due case, dovendo fare da dog-sitter al cane dei miei (beh, è lì che ha la residenza) che, ormai in piena crisi di identità canina, vive col guinzaglio sempre al collo.
Insomma, spesso e volentieri dormo in una casa, a pausa pranzo sono nell’altra e a cena … Dio provvederà! Ovviamente la macchina fotografica si trova sempre nella casa sbagliata, ma possono esserlo anche pentole e cibarie (una goduria andare avanti e indietro con borse e borsoni). Dicono che sia bello avere due case, ma non fatevi fregare, ciò è vero solo se la seconda è una casa di villeggiatura, possibilmente al mare o in montagna.
In ogni caso è un periodo intenso in cucina e, incredibile ma vero, ogni tanto riesco persino a scattare qualche foto (quando mi trovo nella stessa location della macchina fotografica)… anche perché c’è un nuovo meraviglioso ingresso in famiglia: un obiettivo fisso 50mm Nikon. Presto vi farò federe i risultati, e mi auguro che ciò comporti dei miglioramenti.. ma questo sarete voi a dirlo!
Nel frattempo, però, se siete alla ricerca di un modo estivo per mangiare i legumi, siete nel posto giusto: una bella insalata di ceci con aggiunta di zucchine grigliate, pomodorini, olive taggiasche, con una bella aggiunta di basilico e menta… moooolto estivo, provare per credere!

- 300 g di ceci secchi
- un pizzico di bicarbonato di sodio
- un pizzico di sale
- 4 zucchine chiare
- due cucchiai di olive taggiasche denocciolate
- pomodorini datterini q.b
- 5-6 foglie di basilico
- 5-6 foglie di menta
- sale q.b
- il succo di mezzo limone
- olio extra-vergine di oliva
- La sera prima (12-24 ore prima) mettete a bagno i ceci in acqua fredda, con un pizzico di sale ed uno di bicarbonato di sodio.
- Trascorso questo tempo, sciacquate i ceci sotto l'acqua corrente. Portate a bollore una pentola di acqua salata e, quando bolle, lessate i ceci per circa 30 minuti (dipende dal tipo di ceci e da quanto al dente volete tenerli; potrebbe volerci anche un'ora). Controllate la cottura, quindi scolateli e passateli sotto l'acqua fredda, quindi lasciate raffreddare.
- Lavate e mondate le zucchine, quindi tagliatele a fette sottili (io lo faccio con il pela patate) e grigliatele su una piastra di ghisa o simili.
- Lavate i pomodorini e tagliateli a metà.
- Lavate e mondate il sedano e tagliatelo a piccoli pezzi.
- Lavate il basilico e la menta e spezzettate le foglie con le mani.
- Mettete i ceci ormai freddi in una terrina, aggiungete i pomodorini, le olive taggiasche, il sedano, le zucchine grigliate e le foglie di menta e basilico. Quindi salate e condite con il succo di mezzo limone (o di più, va a gusti) e olio extra-vergine di oliva.
