Il silenzio (e i biscotti alla ricotta e scorza di limone)

In questi giorni di parole ne sono state dette tante, da ogni parte: gridate o sussurrate, parole di odio, di paura o di rassegnazione, poche le parole pensate e tante quelle uscite “solo per dare fiato alla bocca”.

Io in questi momenti tragici, segnati dal dolore e dallo sgomento (e non mi riferisco ad un episodio particolare, ma a quelli accaduti in Francia come in Siria, in Libano come in Egitto), credo sempre più nel valore del silenzio, e per dire quello che vorrei mi affido alle parole dei poeti che, come è giusto che sia, hanno l’immenso potere di interpretare i nostri pensieri e dar loro una forma migliore di quella che avremmo mai potuto dar loro.

Ora conteremo fino a dodici
e tutti resteremo fermi.
Una volta tanto sulla faccia della terra,
non parliamo in nessuna lingua;
fermiamoci un istante,
e non gesticoliamo tanto.

Che strano momento sarebbe
senza trambusto, senza motori;
tutti ci troveremmo assieme
in un improvvisa stravaganza.

Nel mare freddo il pescatore
non attenterebbe alle balene
e l’uomo che raccoglie il sale
non guarderebbe le sue mani offese.

Coloro che preparano nuove guerre,
guerre coi gas, guerre col fuoco,
vittorie senza sopravvissuti,

Se non fossimo così votati
a tenere la nostra vita in moto
e per una volta tanto non facessimo nulla,
forse un immenso silenzio interromperebbe la tristezza
di non riuscire mai a capirci
e di minacciarci con la morte.

Forse la terra ci può insegnare,
come quando tutto d’inverno sembra morto
e dopo si dimostra vivo.

E in silenzio mangio qualche biscotto alla ricotta e scorze di limone.. forse dovremmo consigliare a chi ha tanta fretta di parlare di pensare fino a 10, e nel mentre tenere la bocca chiusa, anche riempiendola di biscotti, se può aiutare.

Biscotti ricotta limone

Biscotti alla ricotta e scorza di limone

  • Resa: circa 60 biscotti
  • Preparazione: 15 minuti
  • Cottura: 25 minuti
  • Pronta In: 40 minuti

Ingredienti

Istruzioni

  1. Pre-riscaldate il forno a 160°C.
  2. Radunate tutti gli ingredienti in una ciotola e mescolateli il meno possibile: dovete ottenere un composto omogeneo, ma nulla più.
  3. Formare delle palline grandi come una noce e adagiatele su una teglia coperta di carta da forno distanziandole bene fra loro. Quindi schiacciatele leggermente con i rebbi di una forchetta.
  4. Spennellate con del latte e spolverizzate con lo zucchero.
  5. Infornate a 160° C per 20/25 minuti al massimo (non devono colorire troppo).
  6. Fate raffreddare su una gratella, quindi conservate al riparo dall'umidità.

  3. Anche io preferisco stare in silenzio ed elaborare queste cose dentro di me, anche come forma di rispetto. Altri preferiscono esternare, forse è anche un modo per esorcizzare o per buttare fuori quello che si ha dentro.
    Io prendo anche il camioncino e vado a fare un giro, pensando, sgranocchiando, sgranocchiando.
